Pebbles are an inert free draining medium that can be used repeatedly.

Many growers prefer pebbles because they allow the grower to flood and drain the medium as many times as they wish without having the problem of the medium being over watered.

Pebbles are perfect for increasing your drainage by placing them at the bottom of your pot below the soil or in flood and drain systems as mentioned above.
