These 45 and 10ltr bags are for use with a flood and drain system as well as being ideal for adding to the bottom or mixing with soil for improved drainage. Clay pebbles are an excellent medium for pot culture and Flood and Drain systems. When planting into clay pebbles, the plants should be inserted well into the depth of the substrate to encourage rapid root growth. Plants placed onto the surface of the substrate will not easily root into the top layer.
